Laura Rahimi Barnes Launches Full-Service Publishing House Paige Press

With groundbreaking success as a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Bestselling Author publishing under the pen name Laurelin Paige, Laura Rahimi Barnes is upscaling Paige Press’s operations, combining her extensive writing and marketing prowess with her passion for story to elevate the voices of new authors

AUSTIN— Today, author Laura Rahimi Barnes officially launched a full-service publishing house as the next step forward for her growing company Paige Press.

Paige Press was established in 2014 by Laurelin Paige, a pen name for Laura Rahimi Barnes. After spending the last six years transitioning from a one-woman publishing powerhouse to an in-house team of like-minded professionals, the company began selectively acquiring authors. Now, Barnes is further expanding operations to include a full-service publishing house and a content development division in order to better utilize her writing and marketing experience to further the careers—and stories—of even more authors. Beyond independently publishing select works of romance and YA, Paige Press will also develop new projects in house, from the first page to the last, partnering with fresh outside voices to usher stories from concept to market. Employing a combination of extensive industry knowledge and attention to detail, Paige Press will offer services akin to those at Alloy Entertainment, CAKE Literary, and Glasstown Entertainment.

“Paige Press recognizes that authors are the heart of books,” Barnes said. “We work with them to produce stories that showcase their talent and unique ideas as well as help them choose the best path to readers. Finding the perfect audience to suit each author and story we work with is our passion.”

The publishing house will represent all authors, but as part of its commitment to fostering diversity is especially interested in partnering with writers from traditionally marginalized or underrepresented backgrounds including BIPOC and the LGBTQ+ community. The team is currently accepting writing samples that are 5-10 pages long in the romance, young adult, and SFF/speculative fiction genres.

With an MBA from Regis University and years of hands-on marketing and branding experience, Barnes is poised to nurture the careers of Paige Press writers long term. Barnes’ first passion in the industry is her writing as a romance author. She loves putting pieces of herself in stories—ranging from her Iranian heritage to her experiences as a mother of daughters with disabilities. Her knowledge of the evolving market and advertising acumen are grounded in her own experience and proven by her record. With millions of books sold worldwide, her international success started with her very first series, the “Fixed Trilogy.”
